Leah Klensch, LPCC

Leah spent the last 12 years with the Eating Recovery Center (ERC) treating individuals in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment settings. During this time she specialized in eating disorders, mood, and anxiety disorders. Leah facilitated both group and individual therapy. Most recently, Leah served as a supervisor on the admissions team, determining appropriate levels of care for individuals seeking eating disorder treatment.
In addition to her work with eating disorders, Leah has received extensive training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She has a passion for working with women who are experiencing mental health concerns related to fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, intrauterine and infant loss. She also provides individual therapy to partners of new moms who may be experiencing difficulties adjusting to their new role. She also acknowledges the challenges an expecting or new mom can experience regarding disordered eating, body image, and appropriate nutrition.
Leah utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Leah offers individual therapy (in-person and virtually) to all age groups.
