Abbi Sacco, LPA
Abbi graduated from the University of Alabama with undergraduate degrees in psychology and Spanish. She then moved to Louisville to complete her masters degree in Counseling and Personal Services from the University of Louisville. Abbi has experience working with individuals, groups, and families in various settings including partial hospitalization/ intensive outpatient programs, private practice, and community mental health. Specifically, Abbi specializes in providing evidenced based care for eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, and self-harming behaviors, and trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and young adults.
Abbi utilizes an integrative therapeutic technique, incorporating dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), interpersonal skills, and family-based therapy (FBT) techniques. She is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for all clients.
